Next, dampen a clean, soft cloth with lukewarm water for a light wipe-down of the countertop.Gently wipe the surface, focusing on spills and residues. Avoid hot water to prevent damage to the marble. For stubborn stains, use a pH-neutral, marble-friendly cleaner, applying it to the cloth and gently rubbing the area.

For tough oil-based stains, use a targeted approach. Sprinkle baking soda over the stain and let it sit for 15-20 minutes to absorb the oil. Then, wipe away the baking soda and loosened stain with a damp cloth.​

To treat ink or wine stains, mix equal parts hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to create a paste.Apply it to the stain and cover with plastic wrap to keep it moist overnight. This will help lighten the stain. The next day, remove the wrap and clean the area with a damp cloth.
